Welcome to Yash Samajik Sanstha, a non-profit organization registered under the Government of Maharashtra, India. Our organization is dedicated to serving the community through various social and educational initiatives, focusing on empowering underprivileged and marginalized groups, particularly children and women.
At Yash Samajik Sanstha, we strive to create a positive impact by implementing health awareness campaigns and educational programs. Our efforts include skill development training for youth, men, and women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including SC/ST minorities, aimed at fostering self-employment opportunities.

Tree plantation drive

In celebration of the birthday of Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister and Senior Mentor of Maha NGO Federation, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, a special event was organized on Monday, July 22nd, by Maha NGO Federation and Yash Social Organization, Patan. Under the guidance of Mr. Shekhar Mundada, the founder of Maha NGO Federation, a tree plantation drive was held at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Bodkewadi, Patan Taluka, at 10:00 AM. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Hanmant Awale, President of Yash Social Organization, Patan, the school's Headmaster Mr. Gaikwad, as well as Mr. Vitthal Kharat and Mr. Dhavu Yedge. During the program, Mr. Hanmant Awale, President of Yash Social Organization, Patan, emphasized the importance of environmental conservation. He stated, "Tree plantation is not just an activity; it is a necessary responsibility for the protection of our environment. In these times of growing environmental challenges, everyone must actively participate in such initiatives. This will make our planet greener and more prosperous." Through this tree plantation initiative, an important message of environmental conservation was conveyed, urging every individual in society to take an active role in protecting the environment.

Tree plantation drive

On 22nd July 2023, in honor of Hon'ble Shri Devendra Fadnavis' birthday, a tree plantation drive was organized by Maha NGO Federation and Yash Samajik Sanstha Patan at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Kalki Sada, Ta-Patan, Dist-Satara. The initiative, guided by Shekhar Mundada, founder of Maha NGO Federation, aimed to promote environmental awareness. The event was attended by the President of Yash Samajik Sanstha Patan, Mr. Hanmant Awle, School Principal Mr. Chandrasekhar Yadav, Teacher Shri. Prakash Golvad, along with villagers and school students.

Menstrual hygiene dignity kit distribution

The aim of our project is to inculcate the values of women's health, menstrual hygiene management, and sanitation among rural girls and women at Satara(D). We have distributed an average of 200 sanitary pads. The women in villages of Satara(D) now have begun to understand the need of using sanitary napkins, take care of good hygiene, follow a balanced diet, and their right to lead a healthy reproductive life.

The YASH SAMAJIK SANSTHA has always supported the effort to plant trees and preserve existing trees. In light of the significance of the environment, it raises children's environmental awareness while nurturing trees and promoting environmental preservation.

Rural Learning Enhancement Initiative

The Rural Learning Enhancement Initiative is a flagship project of Yash Social Society aimed at providing quality education and necessary physical facilities to schools in rural areas. The initiative not only supports the infrastructural needs of rural schools but also enriches the learning experience of students through the distribution of educational materials, organization of various competitions, and conducting workshops on diverse topics.

Hygiene and Dignity Kits

At Yash Samajik Sanstha, we recognize the struggles faced by women in homeless, poor, and rural areas, particularly concerning hygiene and dignity. While efforts are being made to create a safer environment for them, we believe it is our responsibility to treat the planet as our shared home and ensure every person is respected and cared for. Through our Hygiene and Dignity Kits initiative, we aim to address the basic needs of these women, empowering them with the dignity they deserve.

Light up Life

There are many people in our country staying in remote parts of India where they still don't have access to proper light in the evening. These people are dependent on kerosene lanterns. The kids do not have access to proper light to study in the evening.

The project’s main objectives are:

To provide proper light to people in the evening.
To replace kerosene lamps with solar LED lanterns.
To reduce many health and safety hazards.
To reduce fire instances caused by kerosene lamps.
Save Rs 200 per month, which was spent on kerosene.
Increase productivity of villagers by utilizing extra time in the evening.
Provide proper light so that children can study after its dark.
